Traveling

suitcase

I just landed in the unpredictable city, Beirut, with a minimum of 24 hours till my first class of the new semester. I didn’t accomplish as much reading as I intended to during my winter break but I started re-writing an odd novel I started when I was really young so I’m happy.

The following novels in my suitcase:

  • To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
  • Asylum by Madeleine Roux
  • The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson
  • Butterfly Burning by Yvonne Vera

(The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky was in my handbag )

Any Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) fans out there? Did you recognize my Colossal Titan plushie? One of my high-school besties bought it for me and now some of my other friends want to burrow him (steal him). Hummus Chips are my favorite new snack that my mother recommended to me. Even though hummus here in Beirut is spectacular, I still have a soft spot for these chips.

I miss my family tremendously right now.

I’ll just keep my chin up high and clean up because holy canola the apartment is a mess.

Do you usually pack a book to read or do you prefer a kindle?

Here is a relevant song for this moment: Traveling (I’m yet to find the translated lyrics)
